Se usa WILL para expresar decisiones instantáneas no planificadas, ofrecimientos. petición de ayuda, avisos o advertencias, con los verbos think, believe, expect... be sure, be afraid..., y con los adverbios: probably, certainly, perharps...
     . Will you help me move? (¿Me ayudas a mudarme?)

• They will clean their rooms. (Limpiarán sus habitaciones.)

• I'm afraid they will go with you.

• She won't work with Paul. (No trabajará con Paul.)

• Se utiliza "will" para expresar predicciones, promesas...

• When I am president, I will lower taxes. (Cuando sea presidente, bajaré los impuestos.)

• He promises he will call when he arrives. (Le prometió llamar cuando llegue.)

• Se usa BE GOING TO para planes e intenciones. Se indica la intención de hacer algo.

• We're going to have a party tonight

• Richard's going to take an English class.

• Are Peter and you going to play football later?

    

• Se usa el PRESENTE CONTINUA para expresar CITAS programadas y acciones en el futuro cercano:

• Sarah is arriving tonight. (Sarah llega esta noche)
• My father is coming home at 9.00.

• Se usa el PRESENTE SIMPLE para expresar horarios:

• The party starts at 9 pm. (La fiesta empieza a las 21h.)

• The train leaves at 10 am. (El tren sale a las 10h.)
